What would your last meal on earth be?A mix of the food groups: pepperidge farm goldfish, eggplant parmesan and swedish fish.Do you have a hidden talent?I can kick a mean field goal. I was the first girl in central Illinois to score a point in a varsity boy’s football game.

What’s your favorite place in Maine?
Anywhere I can bury my toes in the sand, listen to waves and watch seagulls wreak havoc on innocent lunch-goers.

Favorite Maine saying?
You can’t git thea frum heah. (Translation: You can’t get there from here).

What would your last meal on earth be?
A mix of the food groups: pepperidge farm goldfish, eggplant parmesan and swedish fish.

Do you have a hidden talent?
I can kick a mean field goal. I was the first girl in central Illinois to score a point in a varsity boy’s football game.

Here’s how to create your own L.L.Bean Boot planter.

1/ Assemble a worn pair of L.L.Bean Boots, potting soil, a shovel, flowers or herbs of your choice and a drill.

2/ Drill 6-8 scattered drainage holes throughout the sole.

3/ Fill bottom with soil, add plant and cover with more soil.

4/ Display on your front porch. Be the envy of the neighborhood.
